Overview
Chulu Far East Peak Climbing is one of Nepal’s most rewarding introductory mountaineering expeditions. Located above Manang in the Annapurna region, the peak rises to 6,059 meters and provides exceptional views of Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Pisang Peak, and the Chulu range. The journey follows the classic Annapurna Circuit trail, passing through Dharapani, Pisang, and Ngawal before reaching Base Camp. From Chulu Far East High Camp (5,300m), climbers ascend a snow ridge with moderate slopes using crampons, ice axe, and fixed ropes where necessary. Summit day offers a spectacular Himalayan panorama and a safe, enjoyable climbing experience suitable for those attempting their first 6,000m peak.
